Brett Ledermeier is an associate attorney with the Firm’s Real Estate Litigation Group. Brett represents clients in litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and negotiation of contract disputes regarding residential and commercial real estate, include those arising out of insurance contracts, title, and real estate development. Brett specializes in complex title litigation and has represented, advised, and assisted a wide range of clients confronted with title defect or dispute. Further, Brett has experience representing financial institutions from an in-house perspective on matters ranging from regulatory enforcement to real estate transactions in the form of private placement deals and trust and estates administration.

Brett graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina, where he was a collegiate cheerleader, and obtained his legal education in New York from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (“Cardozo”) with degree-noted legal specializations in Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Law.

During his time at Cardozo Law, Brett worked in the entertainment industry with a focus on Indie Film commercial transactions and was on the Editorial Board of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution where he was published on the topic of mandatory arbitration.

Brett is licensed to practice in the State of Georgia.
