Albert J. DeCusati has been with McLain & Merritt for more than 30 years. With a background in real estate transactions representing lenders, developers, and title insurance companies, he now focuses exclusively on insurance defense, real estate title defense, and property related litigation. He represents some of the country’s largest insurers and retailers in federal and state courts throughout Georgia and has tried more than 75 jury trials in both federal and state courts.

Mr. DeCusati also has substantial personal injury experience, both plaintiff and defendant, and has had many seven-figure verdicts and settlements.

He is admitted to practice in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, and all Georgia appellate and trial courts, and has been selected for more than 25 years by Martindale-Hubbell as an “AV” Preeminent™ attorney.
