Jackson Taylor is an associate in the litigation practice group at McLain & Merritt, P.C.  His work is concentrated on insurance defense, with a primary focus on premises liability.  He supports the team by conducting in-depth legal research, drafting persuasive briefs, and helping develop strategic defenses tailored to each case.  Jackson takes a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to every matter and works closely with clients across retail and insurance industries to address complex liability claims.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jackson gained broad experience in civil litigation, including matters involving personal injury, construction disputes, and motor vehicle accidents.  This diverse background informs his ability to navigate nuanced legal challenges and advocate effectively for his clients.

Jackson earned his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law, and he holds an undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech.  Outside of work, Jackson enjoys cooking, playing card games, and spending time with his little dog, Cheese.
